Juneau Public Market which is a three day holiday shopping event at the Juneau Centennial Hall and the Juneau Arts and Culture Center is back. The event held every year on Thanksgiving weekend hosts vendors from all over Alaska and the Pacific Northwest and this year promises to be even better than ever.
This year 206 vendors from 29 Alaskan and West Coast communities will be coming, 56 of which are new vendors. A variety of items will be on sale including jewelry and Alaskan Native arts, fashion wear, home decor, fishing and outdoor gear, toys, gift hampers and more. An extensive food court is on site for the hungry shopper or just a fun family day out.
A trolley car leaves Centennial Hall every 10 minutes every hour to circle Aak’w Village district and the market runs all through Thanksgiving weekend from November 29 to December 1. Opening hours are Friday noon to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
